Is there a shortcut key to bring up the call hierarchy of a method inline with the code, in the quick menu format, rather than bringing up the call hierarchy panel?

IntelliJ 14.X Onwards
From version 14.0 onwards, the path to the setting dialog is slightly different, a General submenu has been added between Editor and Appearance as shown below

From IntelliJ 8.1.2 onwards, this option is in File | Settings1. Within the IDE Settings section of that dialog, you'll find it under Editor | Appearance.

Alt + F1 (or Alt + Shift + 1 for linux) almost does what you want. You need to hit Enter afterwards as IDEA allows multiple "targets" for navigation (project structure, file structure etc).
(Note you can also set AutoScroll to Source and AutoScroll from source using the two "boxes with arrows" buttons above the project structure view but this can get annoying when it shoves you into the JDK source because you followed a reference to java.io.File.
The keymap defines it as Select current file or symbol in any view.

I don't think the inline method call hierarchy exists (please enlighten me if I am wrong).
