Time in 24 hour format in VBScript

I am trying to get the system time in 24 hour format using VBScript. I had gone through the documents and found nothing. I need to compare the system date and time with my data and need to check the differences.

VBScripts FormatDateTime function does not supprot general format strings only a constrained set of constants and 0 is the only choice you have to include both date and time.

Could it be the prescence of the AM/PM that is causing confusion?

You are in a US locale?

Try SetLocale(2057)

This puts the script in to the en-GB (UK) locale. The default date time format is dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss. Its 24 hour perhaps your import would prefer that format.

To insert variables and object properties into a string, you need to concatenate them using the & operator, like this:

Set MyFile = fso.CreateTextFile(objFolderItem.Path & OSCPATH & "\listfile.txt", True)

Note that it is recommended to use the BuildPath method to combine multiple parts of the path, as it frees you from adding the necessary path separators (\) manually:

strFileName = fso.BuildPath(objFolderItem.Path, OSCPATH)
strFileName = fso.BuildPath(strFileName, "listfile.txt")
